TileTable is a social platform for the mahjong community in New York City. This policy explains what information we collect through our waitlist form, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We believe in being straightforward — no fine print surprises.
When you join the TileTable waitlist, we ask for five things:
| Field | Required | Why we ask |
|---|---|---|
| First and last name | Yes | So we can address you like a person, not a number |
| Email address | Yes | Our primary way to reach you with launch updates |
| Zip code | Yes | To match you with mahjong games and classes near you in NYC |
| Need to learn mahjong? | Yes | To understand whether you're a beginner or experienced player, so we can tailor your experience at launch |
| Notes | No | A space for you to tell us anything — what you're looking for, what excites you, questions you have |
That's it. We don't collect payment information, browsing data, or anything beyond what's listed above.
Your information helps us do three things:
Your waitlist data is stored securely through our form service provider. We use standard security practices to protect your information from unauthorized access.
Only the TileTable team. We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information with third parties. Full stop.
We'll send you updates about TileTable's launch and development. That's it. No spam, no selling your email to marketers, no surprise newsletters about things you didn't sign up for.
Every email we send will include an easy way to unsubscribe. If you opt out, we'll stop emailing you.
You can request that we delete your waitlist data at any time. Just email us and we'll remove your information — no hoops, no waiting periods.
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll let you know via email. We won't quietly rewrite the rules.
